Good afternoon everyone! I appreciate you taking the time to read this. For those who have been following this blog, you may have noticed I haven’t posted in about a month. I first want to apologize with those who were anticipating new posts each week. I want to explain why.
As I started building momentum for building this site and blog, I’ll be honest, I started getting scared. the reason I was getting scared is because I was wrestling with why I was actually doing this. Was I writing and building the site to glorify myself? Was it to build a platform where I can become “famous”? Was I afraid of criticism? Am I truly doing this to glorify God and provide biblical truths?
In my human nature, there was a part of me that was thinking “this could be my shot!” I also was dealing with the fear of man and what you all as readers would think. I then read these verses in 1st Timothy 6 when Paul was encourage Timothy as a leader of a church in Ephesus;
“Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to your care. Turn away from godless chatter and the opposing ideas of what is falsely called knowledge, which some have professed and in so doing have departed from the faith. Grace be with you all.”-1st Timothy 6:20-21
I was encouraged by these verses because it is my responsibility and duty as a disciple for Jesus Christ to proclaim the gospel an make disciples of all nations. With that being said, I will be continuing to create blog posts and updating the site to provide resources and content that share biblical truths. In a world that is crying for help and looking for answers, there is no better “soul quenching” information then the Biblical authority. My hope and prayer is that this information will glorify my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and to equip and encourage all of you who proclaim to be Christ followers.
